Yosemite

So I finally made it down to Yosemite. I'm in San Francisco for work and I took the opportunity to fly down a couple of days early to drive to Yosemite. I took a lot of photos so it will take a while to go through all of them but here is the fist pass.

Yosemite is really cool. It is crowded but it's so big that it's not too bad and it's EASY to get away from the crowds for the most part.

Zion National Park

Here are some pictures from my trip to Zion Canyon. It was an absolute blast. I got to see an old friend I used to do some climbing with and we did some hiking and really cool slot canyons in the park. Click here to see all my pictures and here are pictures from the Pine Creek slot canyon. Also, here are Kimberly's pictures.

Dillon

So I've been thinking about getting a dog for a while but haven't been in any hurry. Things just worked out recently though, where I ended up getting a dog earlier than I had really planned. His name is Dillon which is kind of funny because my 2 year old niece is Dylan (pronounced the same as Dillon) so you can imagine how interesting things get when Dylan and Dillon are playing together.

He's a great dog and I'm glad I was able to keep him from going to the pound. Here are some pictures from Dillon's first ever, hiking trip:

Tulip Festival

Caleb, Cherie, and I went up to the Skagit County Tulip Festival yesterday. It turns out everything is blooming a little late due to our crazy weather but there was enough to get some photos that I really like.
